Chemical/Mechanical Engineers
Do you enjoy having the opportunities to take personal ownership of cutting-edge technology while working in a "Skunk Works" environment? Successful candidates for the following engineering positions will be practical self-starters who will support projects from conceptual design through prototype build and test. A Masters Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Bachelors Degree with four years related experience is required for these engineering positions with areas of expertise as follows:
Development Engineer:
This position requires test experience on fuel injection, burner, or fuel cell components, and/or gas turbine combustion products. Hands-on prototype design and development experience is a must. The ability to "think outside the box" and transfer non-traditional options to proven theory is highly desirable. We are interested in hiring a qualified individual focused on product development. Candidates for this position should also possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and program management skills, and be highly motivated to succeed.
Fuel Processing Engineer:
This position requires knowledge and/or experience in areas of catalytic reactors and high temperature catalyst applications, fuel cell systems—both experimental and analytical/modeling, and fuel reforming. Experience in design and testing of reformers and combustors, system integration, and prototype system development and testing is also essential. Additional desirable attributes include hands-on R&D skills, ability to develop catalytic reactors for combustion and reforming systems and reactors for fuel cell applications, and good technical writing skills. Balance of plant expertise a plus.
Combustion Engineer:
Primary responsibilities of this position include analytical and experimental combustion knowledge to add to our combustion technology and burner development efforts. Test experience is a must. Ideal candidate will have test experience for fuel injection, burner, or gas turbine combustion products and have hands-on prototype combustor development experience.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
