| Microlith®
Reactor Systems PCI has developed a compact, lightweight and high efficiency catalytic reactor design offering major performance and cost advantages compared to conventional state-of-the-art catalytic reactors. The advantages of these high heat and mass transfer reactors are derived from an ultra-short channel length substrate structure (Microlith®) combined with advanced catalyst coatings.
Microlith® substrates have several superior attributes, for example, in oxidation reactors:
Microlith® technology has been developed with a combination of DOD, EPA, NASA and NSF SBIR R&D programs and joint programs with interested U.S. manufacturers. This technology has been developed for PEM and SOFC fuel processors, catalytic converters, catalytic burners and combustors, fuel cell and fuel reformer oxidizers, fuel reformer catalytic reactors, air cleaning systems, and chemical reactor applications. Microlith™ technology is scalable in many parameters allowing for custom tailored product development to unique individual application requirements.
