GENERAL COUNSEL/PATENT ATTORNEY
Precision Combustion is looking for a technically-capable lawyer to be responsible for our intellectual property, contractual and corporate legal interests. We look to this individual to join our management team in building and expanding a highly capable and innovative company whose new products and services will help build a better world. You would be a key team member within a highly qualified scientific and engineering organization and join a positive and intellectually-challenging work environment.
Summary of Qualifications:
We seek a well-qualified patent attorney with a technical background and who also has general counsel interests and ability. The ideal candidate is very experienced in both areas (retirees or individuals in advanced positions are most welcome). Alternatively, we would be interested in speaking with less experienced but motivated and highly capable lawyers having at least 3 years of experience in a general legal environment, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications and writing and negotiating contracts. Our environment is fun, fast-paced and requires mental agility and drive. The ability to understand the technical aspects of our products and to work productively with our scientific team is essential. JD required, as well as a technical undergraduate degree. You must be certified to practice before U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and you must be admitted to CT Bar.
